Giveaway: Thermis Cowl

I recently knit up a lovely Thermis, and thought to myself, “Katie, wouldn’t it be lovely to send this to one of your blog readers?” and decided that yes, that would indeed fill me with warm fuzzies.

So, I’ve decided to have a giveaway! Entering is simple; just leave a comment on this post telling me why you’d like to win the cowl, and if you feel inclined, something you like about this blog (to fill me with even more warm fuzzies). That’s all it takes! Here are some images, so you can start imagining the nice warm fuzzy around your neck.

She’s knit with Berroco Vintage, in Oat, which is a nice neutral tan color. The buttons are super cute, and the whole thing is very earth toned and comforting.

Now, for the contest specifics. I’ve already told you how to enter, but there’s a few other things to note.

  1. The contest will not be valid unless there are at least 20 entries. Spread the word, tell your friends!
  2. Comments will close at 12:30pm PST on March 11th. The winner will be announced shortly after.
  3. The winner will be chosen via the True Random Number Generator.
  4. ONE entry per person. Cheaters will be disqualified.
  5. This contest is only open to residents of the US and Canada. I promise the next one will be open to everyone.

Good luck everyone! I can’t wait to see this Thermis on the lucky recipient!

UPDATE: This contest is now closed. Congrats to the winner!

Hey, looks like I am the first one to comment :)
I’ve wanted to knit Thermis for a while, but haven’t gotten around to it. Vancouver is quite cold at the moment, and it would be fab to have this lovely neckwarmer fight the chills of my neck when I am biking. “Earth toned and comforting” sounds exactly what I love, and the green buttons look like they would match my new avocado earrings!
Thank you for a chance to win!

Do APO/FPOs count as US addresses? Technically the zip code is California based! :) Either way I’m retweeting your contest tweet so hopefully you’ll get more entries! :D

Hi! I love the soft grey color with the bright green buttons. When I was in HS, I went through a period of wearing only grey and then didn’t wear it for years…now I’m back to wearing it…and all greens are my favorites! This would so match one of my jackets…

Your blog, I just found it and have had a quick look around…I like how the posts are listed with a picture to see what it is about…I also like having the recipes, may print some of those out for the Hubs (he does the cooking! Lemon square bars last night)

I don’t do “follow” but I have added you to my blogroll…

I like how easy it is to navigate around your blog! Nice work!
I so hope I win your beautiful cowl! It’s snowing here as we speak and our winter isn’t anywhere near ending so I’d get lots of wear out of it!

I love that the cowl is made from a neutral color. It will go with anything. You did a super job knitting the Thermis.. The bright green buttons looks great against the oatmeal color.

I absolutely lovee the layout of your blog! I’m planning on making a wabbit season hat (just got my mal twist today) and happened upon your blog from the ravelry project page. Neon/chatreuse green has been my signature color since high school (we don’t need to discuss how long ago that was, do we?) NO ONE would mistake this cowl for theirs if I wore it. The buttons are unmistakably my color.

I don’t knit so this soft cowl is not something I could make for myself. Please pick my number! ~Cindy

How cute. I’d love a chance to win. Preferably, I’d like to learn to make one as well. But win or not, I always enjoy looking at your projects because they inspire me.
