My Geodesic Cardigan (which I will never speak of again after today) is finally finished! It was truly the project from down below.
Tuesday was my Pod’s birthday, and the standing tradition is that I bake him cupcakes for his birthday, because he doesn’t like birthday cake. This year, I took his love for the microcake, and his love for snickerdoodle cupcakes, and mashed them into yummy snickerdoodle cupcakes!
I’m making Ishbel out of Malabrigo Sock! The fabric feels great, but the yarn ball decided to vomit.
One day, I’ll be brave enough to tackle a full on fair isle project, including the design portion. That day is not any time soon, but some day!
Items are loved and admired when they’re cast on and cast off, but they’re rarely talked about again later. Here’s some oldies but goodies, and their current fate.
They’ve said that chaos breeds creativity. I’m living proof of this statement! My workspace is an organized disaster (hey, I know where everything is!), and as soon as I clean it, I get confused.
I’ve come a long way as a knitter in the past year. I’ve gotten better overall, and have learned a number of valuable lessons.
Everybody loves yarn! But, not all fibers are created equal. Here are some thoughts on why I love merino, and don’t love alpaca so much.
My Mondo Cable Hood is complete! Despite the disagreements that the pattern and I had, I very much love the finished hood. It has great buttons, too!
This week, I’ve got some Charade socks on needles, and I’m almost done with my Mondo hood, and *gasp*, The Sweater I (mostly) No Longer Speak Of™.
