Vampire Dice Bag

Hello my poor neglected visitors! It has been so long since I blogged, and honestly it feels like it’s been almost as long since I did any crafting. I was ridiculously busy for a while, planning my wedding! That’s all done now though, and I finally have free time again. I’ve made a few things too, so I have the next couple posts planned. Yay!

The first order of business was to make something quick and easy, to ease back into things. Every other Thursday, I play in a Vampire: the Masquerade tabletop game. I needed a new dice bag for it, and I found the most perfect fabric for it in my stash!

I had a few dice bag patterns already, but I wanted a bag that stood up and open on it’s own, and also didn’t require sewing a circle to a tube like the one pattern I already had that fits the first requirement. After browsing the interwebs for a while, I found this boxy pattern, and it’s pretty much perfect!

It holds all of my D10s (I have a dice collecting problem, I have sooooooo many!) and it’s cute and everybody at game will love it.

In fact, it’s such a great little pattern that I’m thinking I’ll make dice bags for both my gaming groups for Christmas this year. Everyone will love them, but shhhh don’t tell them yet :)

Now that I’ve made this one, I think I need to make one for my Pathfinder game (which I play on the Thursdays between Vampire hehe). My character there is an ex-pirate, maybe something nautical?? So many possibilities…
