This week I’m sewing a Two Zip Hipster bag from fabrics out of Timeless Treasures “Bright Lights, Big City” collection. It’s going pretty well, except for a seam allowance disagreement that my sewing machine and I had.
I made some Brick Patch Coasters with my brand new Brother sewing machine. And, I learned how to sew on quilt binding!
I’m participating in the current KAL at my LYS, and we’re knitting a lovely long cardigan called Cassis!
Fresh blackberries and lime mingle together with some sparkly water for a cool, refreshing summer drink!
It hardly counts as a WIP when I’m only 6 rows from completion and the picture is from before I seamed and picked up ribbing, but this week I’ve started (and will finish) a Something Lacy shrug out of Cascade Ultra Pima.
Creme Brulee is a simple mesh top that looks amazing in a variety of yarns, and can be used for all kinds of occasions. I made mine in Malabrigo Arroyo and got something perfect for those breezy Spring days.
This is the quickest I’ve ever knit a pair of socks, I finished in just two weeks! These were a fun knit, with a pretty lace cuff and simple ribbed foot.
I went to the yarn shop to get a ball of yarn wound, and came home with more yarn than I walked in with. Raise your hand if you saw that one coming!
There was never a WIP post for these, since they knit up so quickly, but I want to show off my very first knitted baby items. One of my friends from high school just had a baby boy, so I made some booties and a hat for him!
I’m knitting some awesome socks for a test knit, learning 2 at a time to finally beat Second Sock Syndrome, and only quasi-neglecting my Creme Brulee.
